Enjoy all the comforts of home in a beautiful setting. See spectacular sunsets and sunrises among Ponderosas, Junipers, Agaves, and unique rock formations. You can hike, bike, or drive to desert, forests, streams, and canyons. Take a two-mile winding drive to Pinos Altos, a tiny, colorful town with minimal services. Find art, food, and music in Silver City, or isolation and nature in the Gila Wilderness. We provide free animals: deer, ravens, lizards, foxes, bear, skunks, javelinas, humming birds, and more. Learn about nearby historical mining operations, as well as Indian and ranching history.
The Agave House has a unique architecture, beautiful furnishings, and complete amenities. Two bedrooms accommodate four adults, and we can make arrangements to sleep more.
We provide:
- Complete kitchen-cookware, dishes, restaurant-style range, coffee maker, microwave, dishwasher
- Outdoor dining with gas grill
- Fireplace with wood
- High fidelity sound for satellite TV, CD/DVD player, radio, or your MP3 player
- Queen bed in one bedroom; a king or twin beds in the other; comfortable air mattresses for additional sleeping arrangements
- Bathrooms for each bedroom, with a "see-to-believe" shower upstairs and a large spa tub downstairs
- Wireless or wired internet connection
- Laundry machines or service available for longer stays
- Phone for local calls or long-distance with your card (cell phone reception is marginal)
The Raven House, 1960s ranch style, is perfect for family gatherings. Updated to today's standards, it is more modest (and affordable) than the Agave House. Three bedrooms and a convertible office accommodate up to eight people, and we can make arrangements for more.
We provide:
- Modern kitchen with ample counter space, cookware, dishes, gas stove, coffee maker, microwave, and dishwasher
- Outdoor dining with charcoal grill
- Fireplace with wood
- High fidelity sound CD/DVD player
- Queen bed in the master bedroom; twin beds in the other two bedrooms; a fold-out couch in the office; comfortable air mattresses for additional sleeping arrangements
- Shared bathroom in hall; master bedroom has separate bath
- Wireless or wired internet connection
- Laundry machines or service available for longer stays
