Prices: Our in-season rate is $295 per night for the house or $225 for the upstairs bedroom only. These charges are for up to four guests for both bedrooms or two for one bedroom. It's $25 extra per night for extra guests. We can make sleeping arrangements for extra people. We make price adjustments for stays longer than a week and other special arrangements. Call for our winter rates.
Pets: Agave Ridge is not an ideal place for pets. If they go outside, they can be eaten by bears, sprayed by skunks, poisoned by rattlesnakes, or prickled by cactus. If they stay inside, they may damage our hardwood floor or antique rugs. We suggest that you use our free pets--foxes, lizards, skunks, hummingbirds, javalinas, and deer--although we have accommodated well-behaved pets downstairs only. We use a pet gate at the bottom of the stairs, and ask that guests help keep pets downstairs.
Winter Visits: During winter months (normally November to
February, but who knows these days) Agave Ridge may be a four-wheel drive destination. If there is snow on our
driveway, you will need snow chains or a four-wheel drive to get up to the house. If you have questions about the
weather, please ask in advance. Most of the winter there is no problem, and we can make special arrangements to
help you get to the house during bad weather. The scenery is spectacular during snow if you can deal with a little
inconvenience.
Payment: We accept payment with cash, money order, or personal/business
check. Yes, we've thought about credit cards, but haven't yet seen the benefit for us or you. We ask for a
50% deposit within one week of booking to hold your reservation. For holidays amd special events we require the
full amount at the time of the reservation. To cancel, you must give notice at least 14 days before your arrival
date. Check-in is 3 to 6 pm on your first day.
